Matti Nelimarkka - who am I?

I'm a 21-years old Masters student of political sciences. I study at the University of Helsinki in the faculty of Social Sciences on the department of Political Sciences.

In my (soonish to be finished1) Bachelor degree, I majored in political sciences and minored in computer sciences and statistics. My bachelor thesis focused on the implementation of electronic participation. My key argument is that we need to research also the problems considered in the administration, not just to look at the citizens side of the equation.

I also work part time in Nokia Corporation, doing research and development work in Corporate Development. I'm also affiliated with Helsinki Institute of Information Technology HIIT, mostly just hanging with the guys there. I do keep a part time blog Science and Industry.

1 I'm missing some mandatory language courses of my bachelor degree, thus I haven't graduated as a bachelor, but actually study in the masters level.
